MUA lipstick review

MUA lipstick review- Wild Berry❤

I recently purchased one of the MUA lipsticks after hearing so many people rave about how good they are and i was slightly disappointed:(
I admit, they are good for the price as they're only a pound but the pigment isn't so great.
I got the colour 'wild berry' which is suppose to look like a very deep purple/plum but when i apply it to my lips it goes more of a reddish/pink colour which is really disappointing because the colour is amazing in the packaging!

Also, because it's a matte lipstick it's not very moisturising and it actually dried out my lips quite a lot, which is never really a good look especially with a dark lipstick..
I do like the packaging though, it's very simple but looks really sleek and classy- shame about the actual lipstick!

So overall I'd say they're great if you're looking for a quick fix, if you've run out of lippy and you need one for the time being as they are really, really cheap! but I'd say for pigment and quality its a no-go, especially with the matte ones!
I'm now on a mission to find a better matte lipstick in the exact same shade, because it's beaaauttiful! and would be amazing for autumn/winter time!
